She was a Danish photographer who is remembered for the large collection of photographs and films she took in Greenland, depicting the country and the way of life of its inhabitants before their old culture disappeared.

Gerda Taro (August 1, 1910 - July 26,1937)
Gerda Tara (original name Gerda Pohorylle) was regarded as the first female photojournalist to cover the front lines of a war and to die while doing so. She was initially introduced and taught photography by the famous war photographer, Robert Capa.

This is a documentary about Diane Arbus. The film was made in 1972, a year after her suicide. It’s definitely worth your time, if you have a moment to check it out.
